What we do
Creative activity that is open, welcoming and shaped by our members.
Creative sessions
We run inclusive arts and crafts sessions where members can explore painting, drawing, textiles, crafts and more. Activities change through the year and are shaped by what our members tell us they want to do. No experience is needed — our sessions are about enjoying the process, not producing perfection.
Community and friendship
RDAF is as much a community as it is an arts group. Our sessions give people a place to meet, talk, share skills and support one another. Carers, family members and friends are welcome too.
Exhibitions and events
We are proud of what our members create, and we look for opportunities to share it — through exhibitions, displays and community events across Renfrewshire. Celebrating disabled artists publicly is one of the ways we advance equality and challenge assumptions about disability.
Who can take part
- people with disabilities or health problems, of any age
- children and young people, and older people
- family members, carers and friends
- anyone in the community who supports what we do
Where and when
Our sessions are based at the Disability Resource Centre, 74 Love Street, Paisley PA3 2EA. Days and times vary through the year, so please contact us for the current timetable before your first visit.
Access needs
We want everyone to be able to take part. If you have any access needs — mobility, sensory, communication or anything else — tell us when you get in touch and we will do our very best to meet them.
